
On this page, you will find a few DIY paper globes. Print the corresponding PDF file and follow instructions to build the celestial globe corresponding to your favourite sky survey or planetary body.
The 26-faces geometric shape you will obtain is called a rhombicuboctahedron. These models were built from HiPS image sky surveys, thanks to the hips2fits service, provided by CDS, that can also be explored with Aladin Desktop or Aladin Lite.
