“Stellar evolution in the JWST and PLATO era“
Stellar physics is more than ever at the heart of many questions in
astrophysics. In this talk I will go through a – certainly biased –
review of the main challenges this discipline needs to overcome and how
major missions and instruments will help make a leap forward in our
understanding of stars, hence of planetary systems and stellar populations.
