“NewCluster: a new high-resolution simulation for galaxy cluster in the era of JWST”
The issue of massive galaxies found at high redshifts by JWST is challenging. I will discuss a few possible approaches to explain it: e.g., the environmental effects, black hole accretion history, and uncertainties in mass estimation. In the same line of thought, I will introduce the NewCluster project, the highest-resolution cluster simulation to date.
