Some ideas on a fermionic origin of MOND and CDM

Abstract

Current observations point to a bifurcation of theories of structure formation; below cluster scale there’s no real evidence for CDM once allowing for uncertainty of gravity theory; and above cluster scale it is still easiest to restore gravity to GR with a CDM or WDM like particle.

Here I discuss a way to use a fermionic warm particle to realize both MOND and large scale effects.  I tentatively identify this particle as self interacting neutrino species which appear in two phases: massless free particle state and a composite massive state.  I also discuss relations with the so-called EMOND.
