PhD studies

The Astronomical Observatory PhD program is affiliated to the Ecole Doctorale de Physique et Chimie-Physique (link : ED182).

NEWS : The Astronomical Observatory pre-selects PhD projects in early Spring each year, and calls for applications for these typically in April-May. Application documents will be made available in French here (projects will be listed under "Sujets prioritaires 2019" together with projects in fields of physics other than Astrophysics). Potential candidates may want to contact scientists at the Strasbourg Astronomical Observatory earlier in the year, to explore future options. Applications in English are welcome (help with the French forms can be obtained from the potential project supervisors).

PhD topics for 2019 are :

M2 research internships

M2 research internships usually take place during spring (+summer). Topics are published on the national website hosted by SF2A, usually starting in October or November. Other demands will be studied on a case by case basis.
