Registation to the M2 parcours Astrophysique is made through the registration portal of Unistra. A link to this site is given here (link), as well as to the welcome page of the Faculté de physique et ingénierie, partner of the parcours Astrophysique of the master degree.
Students considering housing in a student residence of the CROUS are encouraged to file an application immediately and not to wait for the answer of the registration procedure to the master degree. To visit the CROUS website, click here.
The training in astrophysics of the Université de Strasbourg is part of the Master of Sciences, mention Physics. It is a complete training over two years, but entry at the M2 level based on application file is frequent.
The first mission of the parcours astrophysique is to train the next generation of astrophysicists. However, modern scientific training includes advanced training in modeling, computer sciences, statistical analysis which, combined to the knowledge acquired during the Master degree in work methodology (based on personal and team projects), bring valuable competences for a large number of technical or executive careers.
